Vref Simulations Updates Bornholm airport for MSFS to V1.2

Scenery developer Vref Simulations took to their Discord server today to announce an update to their Bornholm airport (EKRN) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Scenery developer Vref Simulations took to their Discord server today to announce an update to their Bornholm airport (EKRN) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The update contains some small improvements and addition of more detail to the airport. The update is free of charge for existing customers.

The update most notably adds more detail to the airport, as well as improved ground textures, night lighting, and tower textures. The update also removed the 3rd windsock as well as the addition of an artificial land extension that is not present in the default sim.

Bornholm is an island in the Baltic Sea. It is the easternmost point of Denmark. The airport is located 5km southeast of Rønne, the island’s capital. The island houses about 40 000 people and is a tourist destination in Summer. There are daily flights to Copenhagen by Danish Air Transport. In summer, several other destinations in Denmark open up.

The airport is available to be bought for €10 through SimMarket. Existing owners will be able to download the update for free through SimMarket in the coming hours if not already.
