Vref Simulations Updates St. Chamond Airport Scenery for MSFS

Vref Simulations have recently released a new update for their Saint Chamond Aero Club scenery covering the local airport in Saint Chamond in Microsoft Flight Simulator. The update brings the scenery to version 2.0 and comes with some promising improvements.

The developers have improved the texture resolution throughout the scenery to achieve better performance, and brand new textures were done for the ground and two of the hangars at the airport.

Further, a number of new small details were added to objects around the scenery to improve the experience when visiting the airport. If you want to go through the changelog yourself, it can be found below.

If you want to purchase the scenery, you can do so through SimMarket for €8.45 with taxes excluded. In order to update the scenery, simply download the new files from the store and replace the old ones.

Saint Chamond Aero Club (LFHG) is a small general aviation airport with a single grass runway located just east of Saint Chamond in the southern part of France. The closest bigger city to the airport is Lyon being just a 50-minute car ride.

I've been a flight sim enthusiast for some time now, and I've always enjoyed flying to various destinations all over the world. My favourite airport is by far Corfu with its scenic and challenging approach. I founded FSNews in May 2019.
