WINWING has launched two new accessories for flight simulation enthusiasts: the Joystick Desk Mount2 with Profile Bar 1 and the Throttle Desk Mount5 with Profile Bar 1, designed to enhance home cockpit setups.
The latest in WINWING’s range of mounts became available for purchase today, May 13, through WINWING’s Global Shipping Site, with pre-orders opening at regional overseas sites. Priced at $35 USD on the Global Site, with regional variations such as $36.75 USD in the US, €33.60 EUR in the EU, and £36.05 GBP in the UK, these mounts target PC simmers using platforms like MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, DCS, and X-Plane.

Made to Be Durable
Both mounts are constructed from high-pressure precision-cast aluminium, ensuring durability for demanding setups. This will be especially welcome by those who might use them for the more enthusiastic sides of flight simulation, such as aerobatics or military simulations.
The Joystick Desk Mount2 supports a maximum load of 5 kg, with an adjustable clamping height of 0-100 mm and a desk thickness range of 15-50 mm, making it compatible with WINWING’s Orion and Ursa Minor joysticks, as well as select MIP panels.
The Throttle Desk Mount5 mirrors these specs, designed specifically for throttle units like the Orion and Ursa Minor, with the same load capacity and desk compatibility. Each mount includes a 400 mm Profile Bar 1, featuring a 40×40 mm cross-section and 16 mounting slots for customisation, and comes with a 5 mm Allen key for assembly, which WINWING claims can be done in approximately 5 minutes.

Offering Flexibility
WINWING previously released desk mounts as part of their broader hardware line-up, such as those bundled with the Orion2 HOTAS system, which focused on modular designs for flight simmers. Unlike earlier mounts, which were often tied to specific HOTAS bundles, the Joystick Desk Mount2 and Throttle Desk Mount5 are standalone products, offering broader compatibility with WINWING’s ecosystem, including the Orion, Ursa Minor, and MIP panels.
The inclusion of the Profile Bar 1 adds versatility, allowing users to adjust mounting positions, a feature not emphasised in prior releases. It’s this kind of flexibility that the community will likely find very useful compared to more constrained mountings.
