iniBuilds took to their Discord server yesterday to announce the release of Xometry Design’s rendition of Harrisburg International Airport for X-Plane 12. The airport scenery is their seventh such product for the X-Plane flight simulator platforms.

About Harrisburg International

Harrisburg International Airport is a public airport located in Middletown, Pennsylvania, United States, and is nine miles southeast of the capital city of Harrisburg. The airport, frequently abbreviated as HIA, is the primary commercial airport in South Central Pennsylvania and is the third-busiest airport in the state of Pennsylvania for passenger and cargo movements behind Philadelphia International and Pittsburgh International Airport. The airport is served by a multitude of carriers such as Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines and connects to almost 20 destinations all over the US.

Key Features

Xometry Design’s Harrisburg International features detailed and up-to-date buildings, high-resolution ground textures and markings, accurately modeled land-side buildings, and PBR normal and weather maps. Furthermore, the team has included precisely drawn wear, tear, and dirt marks, custom ortho mesh custom SAM jetways and ground marshallers, and high-resolution ortho imagery. Other features include custom night lighting, 3D accurate native vegetation, and the modeled Three Mile Island has also been included.
