Xometry Releases Victorville for MSFS

Xometry has released their Victorville Airport (KVCV) scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. It features over 150 static aircraft models.

Previously released for X-Plane 11 last year, Xometry has yesterday released their rendition of Victorville Airport (KVCV) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Presenting the iconic plane graveyard to the Microsoft Flight Simulator community, Xometry made sure to accurately represent the airport area.

The scenery features realistic cracks and stains throughout the airport, high-resolution ground textures, or accurately placed 3D vegetation. Further, the developers have worked on heavily edited orthoimagery or custom night light lighting.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Victorville if there weren’t any static grounded aircraft. This is why Xometry did include over 150 of them with custom objects. You can also enjoy two variants of the scenery. One representing the airport pre-pandemic and the other during the pandemic.

Xometry did not forget about night flyers and included custom night lighting throughout the scenery. For better navigation, they have also included custom ground markings as well as custom taxiway edge lights.

You can purchase the scenery now through the iniBuilds store for about €15.57 with VAT excluded. In comparison with the X-Plane 11 version, the scenery is a bit cheaper. This is, however, normal seeing as the Microsoft Flight Simulator market is much bigger.

In the case you would not be familiar with the airport, Victorville Airport (KVCV) is one of the largest long-term aircraft storage in the world. Situated a few miles out of San Bernardino in California, the airport stores a variety of aircraft from airlines all around the planet.
