ZL Simulation has recently released their first freeware aircraft for X-Plane 11 and 12; the Cessna 152. The announcement was made on the X-Plane.org Forum. This is the developer’s first aircraft for the platform.

ZL Simulation Cessna 152 Key Features

The freeware aircraft has many features. Firstly, the aircraft features a realistic flight model and has been made with high-quality PBR textures. To provide a good and realistic user experience, the aircraft boasts a detailed and functional 3D cockpit, custom FMOD sounds, realistic physics and a built-in Garmin GNS 430 GPS. In addition, the aircraft features 10 liveries and a paint kit for further customisation.

A Little About the Cessna 152

The Cessna 152 is an American two-seat general aviation aircraft used primarily by private and trainee pilots. The Cessna 152, based on its predecessor, the Cessna 150, incorporates small design tweaks and a more powerful engine. The aircraft was first delivered in 1977, and in total, over seven thousand units were built in an eight-year period. Despite the models age, there are still many airworthy Cessna 152s in the world.

Since the add-on is a freeware product, it is available to you at no cost. I would recommend this aircraft for new flight simmers. If you wish to download this add-on, you can find it on the X-Plane.org Forum. For more news about X-plane, do check out our other articles.
