Aerosoft Previews Oslo Airport Before Trailer Release

Yesterday, the Aerosoft team shared a short teaser video of the upcoming Oslo Gardermoen Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator, in addition to that, a few previews were shared via the Aerosoft Forums, showing the previews taken by Maurice from the AviationLads Youtube channel.

Aerosoft has a long history of recreating Oslo Airports over the years, with at least one being released for the old FSX, almost all Prepar3D versions and X-Plane, with the Microsoft Flight Simulator version coming next. Developed by Jo Erlend, the same developer who recreated the famous Aerosoft Brussels scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator, this makes this scenery an anticipated release in the flight simulator community.

The video shared on Facebook shows a few of many details in this scenery, including animated passengers, animated ground vehicles with realistic behaviour, the custom Aerosoft VDGS, animated jetways and even details like puddles on the ground.

In addition to the video, Maurice from AviationLads took a few images of this scenery, showing some more details. This includes glass reflections, 3D terminals, runway lighting, the already-mentioned puddles, the landside of the airport and the whole terminal from a bird’s eye perspective.

Moreover, it was mentioned that the trailer by AviationLads is going to be published soon, showing this upcoming airport scenery in detail.

Unfortunately, no further information has been shared on this Oslo Gardermoen scenery yet. However, it has been promised that this rendition is coming to the Asobo’s simulator very soon. You can also read about the previous Oslo Airport previews in one of our articles here.
