Aerosoft has released Update 1.0.3 for the A340-600 Professional, bringing a range of improvements and new features to the long-haul aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
According to Aerosoft, the update introduces a new configurable turbulence model, improved taxi camera functionality and further integration with the native Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 systems. The release also includes compatibility improvements for external hardware such as the WinWing FCU and MCDU.
The aircraft has now been migrated to the native modular SimObject structure used by Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, improving overall compatibility and future development possibilities.

Key Changes in Version 1.0.3
Among the most notable additions included in Update 1.0.3 are:
- Native MSFS 2024 modular SimObject integration
- New configurable turbulence model adjustable through the EFB
- Improved taxi camera functionality
- User-selectable display refresh rate
- Improved ND route drawing performance
- Pinned Navigraph Charts and Airport quick access in the EFB
- SimBrief option to disable INIT B population
- SayIntentions CPDLC support
- Additional DCDU functionality
- FS2Crew integration support
The update also addresses a number of bugs affecting ACARS messaging, Navigraph chart loading, EFB interactions and several aircraft systems.


Hardware Compatibility Improvements
Aerosoft has confirmed compatibility updates for the WinWing FCU and MCDU hardware ecosystem. Users may need to install a separate patch from the hardware manufacturer once it becomes available.
