Aerosoft Shares More Frankfurt Airport Previews

Aerosoft is currently working on their upcoming rendition of Frankfurt International Airport (EDDF) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. After a few months of silence, the developer shared more images of this highly anticipated scenery.

Through the Aerosoft Frankfurt website, the team shared a number of screenshots and mentioned that more information about the development is going to be available soon.

The previews show the airport in both the simulator and 3D render environment. In the simulator pictures, we can see the train station near the airport, as well as a part of the terminal exterior and interior, which seems to be fully modelled in this rendition.

Speaking of the 3D renders, Aerosoft now shared fully textured and detailed 3D models that are most likely going to be used for this scenery. Be aware, that a lot of things can still change, as the scenery is still in its development cycle. The 3D renders mostly show parts of Terminal 1.

Announced back at FSExpo 2023, the Aerosoft Frankfurt scenery promises to bring the most detailed scenery of this airport developed yet. The development cycle is thus most likely year-long, and since then the development team constantly updates us on the progress.

The scenery is developed by Jo Erlend, who is also responsible for the famous Aerosoft Brussels Scenery and the upcoming Aerosoft Oslo. He has been in the Aerosoft team for a long time already, and he also brought us sceneries for both Prepar3D and X-Plane simulators.
