Aerosoft Updates on A330 for MSFS Progress

The Aerosoft team has two months after announcing the delay of the highly anticipated Airbus A330 release shared a new development update regarding this upcoming long-haul aeroplane. Through their website, they shared some minor information about the development and what the community may expect upon release.

The Aerosoft team was mainly focused on polishing the aircraft with fixing numerous bugs. This resulted in a smoother flying experience that has been gradually improving over the past few weeks.

While the systems are being polished, the 3D modelling team is busy with creating new 3D models for the aeroplane, especially different engine variants. The team aims to bring the GE, Pratt & Whitney as well as the Rolls Royce variant of the A330 CEO to the simulator. Furthermore, Aerosoft will bring the A330 NEO in this package, too.

Speaking of the NEO, the exterior model is now finished and the cockpit is now in the final stage of the development.

Aerosoft then goes on to mention that the engine variants will not only be a cosmetic feature, but also functional, as the displays will be adapted to the different engines, and so will the systems.

Lastly, we were promised to get some new preview images soon, when the NEO cockpit is ready.
