The developer of an upcoming scenery of Frankfurt International Airport, Aviotek, who has also released this scenery for X-Plane, has shared a development update about this upcoming scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator through their Forums today, also revealing the release date of this scenery.

Aviotek opens the forum post with thanking for the community’s patience over this project, and the team is currently carrying out the final stage of converting the scenery from X-Plane to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Together with that, the team also revealed the initial feature list of this Frankfurt Airport scenery.
This scenery of Frankfurt Airport is going to include a full rendition of Terminals 1 and 2, with all concourses, remote stands, cargo areas and other minor details. The terminals will even have a custom 3D interior, and they will be surrounded by custom ground service vehicles. For those who use GSX, a custom profile will be available with the release of this scenery.

The famous taxiway overpasses and highway tunnels will also be simulated in this scenery, as Aviotek created a custom ground profile. The taxiway layout will also be completely up-to-date, being usable for network flying, providing the best possible experience of this Frankfurt Airport scenery.
The entire scenery will be then surrounded by custom points of interest. From the screenshots, we can see that one of them is going to be the famous Frankfurt Flughafen Train Station in front of Terminal 1.
In one of the screenshots, we can see that Aviotek also revealed crucial information about the scenery, that is its release date. The release should happen on June 14th, completely free of charge.
