Axonos Announces Gold Coast Airport for XP11 Release Date

Axonos, a well-known multi-platform scenery developer, has today taken to their official Discord server to announce the release date of their upcoming rendition of the Gold Coast Airport (YBCG) for X-Plane 11.

As stated in the post made by the developer, the scenery is currently expected to be released next Friday, on June 4th, 2021. In addition to the release information, a single preview of a Jetstar A320 taking-off at the airport was attached.

There is not much we know about the scenery just yet as there is no product page available publicly just yet and the developer did not further describe the scenery.

The scenery development was first mentioned in the Axonos’ 2021 roadmap that was published back in April earlier this year. If you want to learn more about what Axonos has in plans for this year, we suggest reading our article on the roadmap here.

The Gold Coast Airport (YBCG) is an international airport located near the southern end of the city of Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. The airport is used as a hub for Jetstar and Virgin Australia. While most traffic at the airport is from Australia, there are some flights operated at the airport with destinations abroad.
