BeyondATC Launches Pilot Portal, Wiki, and Traffic Map for MSFS

BeyondATC launched its own Pilot Portal, Wiki site, and Traffic Map last week. They had already announced the Pilot Portal with the “Traffic” update for the AI ATC program which is still in an alpha state.

Pilot Portal

Last month, BATC announced the traffic implementation for their AI ATC add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Along with the traffic update, they introduced the Pilot Portal which is designed to help grow the community and the algorithm.

If you are a BATC customer, you can log in to the portal with your credentials and submit a change or request new data. This data might include extras like wind ops or virtual airline callsigns. The intention is to enhance the experience of everyone with the feedback of the player by improving the system with custom pronunciations or AI models.

BATC Wiki

There is also now a Wiki page with all the information you need to start your journey and expand your knowledge. It includes a brief but informative “About” section, which is helpful if you’re wondering what BATC is. You’ll find a comprehensive “Tutorial” section with useful tips and information, covering everything from creating your flight plan to receiving your landing clearance. Last but not least, there’s a “Support” section, where you can learn how to report a bug or check the FAQ to see if your issue has already been addressed. You can use the Wiki for everything, including suggesting new features.

Traffic Map

This release focuses on the traffic update and it is only available to the “Supporter’s Pack” customers for the time being. It is an MSFS-integrated map that displays AI aircraft within a 50nm radius. There isn’t a separate website or a download link for the map so you can find it via the program after the installation.

All in all, a bunch of exciting new updates and features introduced by the team behind BATC. We can’t wait for the traffic update to be available to all users.
