The developer FSDreamTeam has released a big update marked GSX Pro v4.0.0, bringing major changes to the popular ground services add-on. The update is mostly focused on providing the community with a completely redesigned experience. The release of the update has been announced through FSDreamTeam’s Facebook page.

The update is mostly focused on the visual overhaul of the user interface. Every part of the menu now feels more modern, with a completely new layout making your cursor movements a bit shorter. To help it further, button text is now accompanied by pictograms, easing the need to read everything.

Another new thing is an economic system. Now, you will get invoices for each service you have been provided with. These HTML invoices will be saved per service group on your computer. The economic system also includes taxes, and is calculated based on your aircraft’s location. When the receipt is received, you will also get the notification through the in-simulator menu. The prices can also be overridden using GSX profiles.

Catering’s pricing, for example, is adaptive, and the pricing is going to be tied to the flight duration dispatched via SimBrief. Based on the hours in the air, various snacks will and won’t be loaded onto the aircraft. Speaking of SimBrief, you will now be able to gather its details through GSX, including fuel, time estimates, distance, alternate airport, and much more.

Fuel trucks have also received a change, and there is a new Mercedes fuel truck model. The fuel trucks now include the same multi-livery system, unique for airports and regions. Many refuelling operators were added to reflect the real-world companies, such as Aviation Fuel Systems, China Aviation Oil, ENI Aviation, OMV, Texaco and more.

Fuel loading overhauls also concern the custom-fuel direction detection. If the refuelling is driven by the aircraft’s systems. This should eliminate the issue where the fuel quantity would’ve dropped to the minimum in previous updates, as in this one, it would create overbilling issues.

The changes don’t end there, and there are many more to cover, including minor fixes. All of the bugfixes can be found at the end of the Couatl Live Update Notes found on the FSDreamTeam’s website.
