BlueBird Showcases The Sounds of Their Upcoming 757 and Shares News of This Add-on in Latest Update Video

One of the most anticipated aircraft to be released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, the 757 by BlueBird, received its second development update for September via a YouTube video. This new update showcases the sounds of this aircraft inside the simulator. During the video, we can appreciate these sounds as if the plane is on a regular night flight. There was also no commentary during this demonstration but we got some information regarding this add-on by the developers at the beginning of the video.

New Information from BlueBird

Before the sound demonstration began, a developer from BlueBird Simulations presented some news regarding this add-on. It is confirmed that the 757 will be released only for MSFS2020. However, a free update will be provided to upgrade this add-on to MSFS2024 sometime later. A release window for this free update was not provided in the video.

Boris from Boris Audio Works is responsible for making this sound demonstration video since he is currently working with BlueBird on the sounds of this project. He introduced the video stating that this demonstration covers the phases of a flight except startup and shutdown since they are still working on it.

This video showcases multiple sounds both inside and outside the aircraft. During this demonstration, we hear the sounds made by the aircraft and some cabin announcements. Even if this video is focused on the lights, other elements from the 757 like animations and night lighting can be seen. Cabin and cockpit views were shown in the video to compare the sounds made in both parts of the aircraft.
