Well established scenery developer Boundless, took to their forum page to announce development on their Dublin Airport (EIDW) rendition for X-Plane 11.
Content of the Scenery Package
The developer stated in their post that they chose Dublin Airport as their next release. They are aiming at including many features into the rendition,many of which will be disclosed in future updates.
Boundless has explained that their rendition will stand out from any other sceneries currently in the market for Dublin. The airport, as well as the vicinity, will be modelled to a high degree of accuracy. Any distinctive features around the airport such as nearby farms, houses and buildings will be included in the rendition.
Development Stage
Additionally, Boundless has expressed that they are working at a very good pace. The Western side of the airport is in its final stages The main aprons, runways and landside areas are also taking shape. The newly completed Northern runway is planned to be implemented in the scenery, which aren’t available in other renditions
Orthos
Finally, Boundless utilised HD ortho imagery (taken 4 months ago) to create the most accurate airport layout. It will also elevate the airport to a very high level of accuracy.

It serves as a major base for Irish airlines like Aer Lingus, Ryanair and CityJet. The airport has an extensive short haul, medium haul network. North American cities are also well served. Examples of destinations include: sunny Split, busy Boston or even icy Innsbruck.
Boundless is yet to disclose any information concerning the pricing or the release date of the product. However, they have reassured the community that they will price the scenery at a lower price than the average for an airport of this size.
