Carenado took to their Facebook page to announce the release of their rendition of the Cessna 210N Centurion for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The release also marks the debut of their RealXperience realism-focused technology, which brings subtle yet immersive features for their aircraft.
About the Cessna 210 Centurion
The Cessna 210 Centurion is a six-seat, high-performance, retractable-gear, single-engined, high-wing general aviation light aircraft that first flew in January of 1957. It was produced by Cessna until 1986, but continues to fly today, with many frames featuring various modifications. The earliest variants had four seats and were powered by a Continental IO-470 engine outputting 260hp. The 210 and 210A were essentially a Cessna 182B with a retractable gear, swept tail, and a new wing.
In 1961, the fuselage was redesigned to be wider and deeper, while the wings featured new semi-Fowler flaps, which allowed for a lower landing speed. In 1964, the 210D introduced a new 285hp engine; in 1967, the 210G introduced a new cantilever wing replacing the older strut-based wing. In 1970, the 210K was the first to become a six-seater plane, and this was achieved by adding a few modifications. In 1979, the 210N model eliminated the folding doors, which previously covered the two retracted main wheels.

The rendition also features realistic HQ digital sounds, realistic flight dynamics, MSFS2024 career ready for missions like First Flight, Ferry Flight, and Sightseeing.
With the debut of Carenado’s new RealXperience realism-focused technology, the Cessna 210N Centurion also features added novelties such as attitude indicator startup, realistic vibrating needles during operation, full panel shake during engine startup, and more.
