BeyondATC has confirmed compatibility for MSFS 2024 in both Early Access and Experimental versions of their product via Discord. BeyondATC is a third-party AI ATC program which implements its own AI traffic injector with various features for a one-time payment. It has received numerous updates since its release.
Compatibility for MSFS 2024
With Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 just around the corner, BeyondATC has released a short statement regarding compatibility with MSFS 2024. At the start of this statement, the developers confirmed BeyondATC would be fully compatible with MSFS 2024 in both the Early access and the Experimental versions.
Compatibility for their AI traffic injector, available to supporters, will also be fully functional. However, it was emphasised that BeyondATC being compatible means working as it does in MSFS 2020. They have not yet been able to take advantage of the new features provided in MSFS 2024 as these were not included in the development builds.
It was noted that both FSLTL and AIG have not had access to the development builds. This means there could be model issues for both programs. Both teams have indicated that there could be several model issues such as sound issues, animations, missing components and more. These issues will affect the models when used with BATC but require fixes from Asobo or the respective teams.
BeyondATC Traffic Update
BeyondATC continues to bring new features and fixes as the developers work their way through experimental builds. The team have stated that they are nearing “feature complete” on their custom AI traffic injector. Building the injector from the ground up using a 3D engine to calculate each and every movement has been hard, but the team has continued to work on it to get it just right.
As they continue to squash bugs and polish the traffic injector, they expect to be moving traffic to the standard Early Access build for all to use as a free update. They have not yet given us a release date for this move but are getting much closer with every passing day with more and more bugs being squashed. The community have also been great at helping the developers fix airport data and ops.
