DC Designs just shared with us his latest Friday Development update. We learned that he is now doing development full time on MSFS.

His first project of choice is the F-15, he already has the F-15C flying in the simulator with a basic flight model. When it comes to the systems, while radar and FLIR are not supported yet in MSFS, most of the systems coded in XML from the P3D versions are working in MSFS already.

The addon is at least a month away from release. The plan from the developer is to focus on systems so as to put a compatible version for the P3D owners to enjoy in MSFS. The later plan is to go more in-depth in the 3D model and visual effects.

As the developer said, for now it’s all about learning to use the SDK and implement everything properly into MSFS. The current task is the cockpit which he will share some images next week with us. When done, he will start working on the F-15E so as to complete the package.
