Drzewiecki Design is back once again with a brand new scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. This developer is known for its work on multiple airports and city landmarks, like its most recent rendition of the future Western Sydney Airport for MSFS. This time, Drzewiecki Design brings us back to Poland for a rendition of Warsaw-Radom Airport. Unlike most other sceneries made by this developer, the new Radom Airport scenery is available for free. This includes the quality that Drzewiecki Design is known for in their payware sceneries, without any downgrade.
About this Airport
Officially named Warsaw Radom Heroes of Radom June 1976 Airport, it is located in Sadków near the city center of Radom. The airport dates back to 1920, when it started as a military base. It then expanded its operations to commercial travel in 2014 with the construction of a new terminal. Today, the airport serves as a relief airport for the two other major airports in the Warsaw area. Wizz Air is the only active carrier in the airport, with seasonal flights being offered by Enter Air.
Drzewiecki Design developed this airport with the help of the airport administration, giving the development team an exclusive look inside the airport for maximum realism and accuracy. This is the first proper freeware scenery released by the developer since 2020, giving the airport all the features expected from a payware scenery from Drzewiecki Design.
Radon Airport was recreated using hand-crafted models and a high amount of detail in the military and commercial areas of the airport, with no performance drops. All ground markings and layout of the taxiways are up-to-date. The scenery also comes with modeled interiors, cars around the airport, and some points of interest around the area, like a stadium.
This scenery is now available for download via the Contrail Store free of charge. It is compatible with both MSFS 2020 and 2024. This was all about the new scenery released by Drzewiecki Design. Stay tuned for further releases from this developer here.
