f7 Simulations Releases ASK 21 Acrobatic Glider for MSFS

f7 Simulations just released the ASK 21 Acrobatic Glider for MSFS. The last showcase of the ASK 21 was published 1 year ago and this is the developer’s second release after the Eagle S100.

First built in 1979, the ASK 21 is a two-seater German glider primarily used for beginner instruction and aerobatic training. It also helped pilots transition from old gliders to newer models. It has a speed limit of nearly 150 knots and can handle 6.5G positive and 4G negative g-loads. Its well-balanced aerodynamic properties make it safe to fly for new pilots.

If you are bored with the default MSFS gliders and want to do cool stuff without a roaring engine from an F-16, the ASK 21 Acrobatic Glider could become your favorite aircraft. f7 Simulations has collaborated with experienced ASK 21 pilots to deliver one of the most authentic glider simulations available.

The f7 Simulations ASK 21 comes with various features to improve your gliding experience, such as realistic flight dynamics, a custom variometer, and authentic custom sounds. It offers six unalike liveries and a paint kit with Blender files if you choose to design your own instead. You can also choose whether you want to fly an acrobatic variant of the glider or not.

Wingtip smoke is an important part of Acrobatics, especially if you want to create a heart in the sky or have fun with it. If you want to share your flying art, the smoke is visible to other players in multiplayer as well! Since you need to learn how to fly the glider before activating the smoke, there is a detailed manual that will help you get to know your aircraft.

The ASK 21 Acrobatic Glider add-on can be purchased via the iniBuilds website for £13.99, €16.60, or $18.41. If you’re interested in other gliders for MSFS, check out our article for GotFriends’ Discus 2C here.
