FlightFX has released Version 1.3.7 of its Cessna Citation X addon for MSFS 2020 and 2024. With the update, FlightFX addresses minor technical issues and introduces audio enhancements to the aircraft.
According to the developer, several lighting issues have been resolved, such as the missing recognition light splash on the right side of the plane, as well as clipping artifacts on the strobe and navigation light effects. The development team has also fixed the tiller wobble issue that occurred at lower frame rates, which should now result in smoother ground handling for users that don’t have-high end PCs. Additionally, a bug affecting detent values has been resolved – previously, settings below 40 would reset to 90 after restarting the sim.

The FMC will no longer display undefined values in certain performance data fields, addressing a bug that could cause confusion during flight planning. The erroneous speed assignments when cruise altitude is set below 5,000 feet have also been fixed according to FlightFX. Furthermore, the ground idle switch functionality has been improved. Besides correcting technical issues, FlightFX also took this opportunity to improve the audio experience on the aircraft. The developer added missing engine startup sounds and improved idle audio, enhancing an already excellent soundscape, as noted in our First Impressions report.

According to the changelog on the FlightFX Discord server, this update represents quick fixes while additional patches are currently in development that will involve deeper system changes and will require extended testing before release. FlightFX continues to seek user feedback as part of its ongoing development process, with the stated goal of making the Citation X “the best experience possible” for flight sim enthusiasts. The Version 1.3.7 update is available via the Marketplace.
