FlightFX has shared a new preview of their two upcoming aircraft via their Discord server. This preview showcases new images of the Cessna Citation X (C750) and The Piaggio P.180 Avanti II (P180) coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Both aircraft are currently in active development with some previews like this one being published by FlightFX.
C750 Progress Showcase
In April, the C750 by FlightFX hit its first milestone by entering the Alpha 1 phase of development. Since then, FlightFX has shown more progress in its development. This new preview lets us visualize the detailed interior of the aircraft. The cockpit and cabin are shown fully modeled and operational. The cabin is shown both in daylight and nighttime to see the cabin’s illumination.
Exterior shots of the aircraft were shared, featuring a new livery. These pictures were taken at airports by VerticalSim. Compared to the last preview, the outside model now has more detailed lighting both inside and outside the aircraft. More details can also be appreciated in the outside model.
P180 Progress Showcase
Similar to the C750, new pictures of the P180 were shared by FlightFX. In this preview, multiple aspects of the P180 were showcased. The cabin, cockpit, exterior model, and even the cargo hold were featured in these pictures. The cockpit is shown with active lights and displays on the ground. The cabin is modeled in this picture, but no nighttime illumination is showcased. Pictures of the aircraft’s exterior show it both airborne and on the ground, with one image showing the aircraft at night time with some lights turned on
According to FlightFX, these pictures show both aircraft in a work-in-progress state and do not represent the final product. Both aircraft still have missing elements that will be added as development progresses. FlightFX has not announced further details regarding both add-ons like the release date or pricing in this preview. FlightFX will release more previews and announcements via their Discord server about these aircraft.
