The developer FlightSimStudio AG, also known as FSS, has released a large experimental update for their Embraer E-Jets series for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Flight Simulator 2024. The announcement of this release was made through their Discord yesterday.

This experimental update marks the beginning of the final roadmap to version 1.0 of the aircraft. This update brings the custom FMS into the aircraft, with better autopilot functionalities, including proper VNAV and LNAV modes. The FMS is also capable of RNAV approaches now.

It is worth mentioning that this is an experimental version of the aircraft, which means that there is no support going to be provided, and there still might be issues while flying the Embraer 190/195 and 170/175. To install this version, you will need to uninstall the current one and install this one through your dedicated installer, like Contrail or Aerosoft One.
