FliteSim.com Announces New FFB Products at FSExpo

FliteSim.com, a Singaporean company that specializes in Force Feedback flight sim controllers, has shown off some of its new products that will be coming later in 2024 at Flight Sim Expo.

Force Feedback (FFB) is something that has been present for a while now in the world of sim racing, but not very much in flight sim. The advantage of FFB is that it provides a much more authentic feel and forces to the controls that can vary depending on the aircraft’s situation or the weight of its controls. FliteSim.com is bringing this technology to our sims with its relatively affordable yokes.

CLS-60 and CLS-120 Yokes

FliteSim.com’s current product line includes its CLS-60 force feedback yoke and the CLS-120, which is an upgraded version of the CLS-60. The yoke’s shape is modeled after the Cessna 172’s yoke, and the CLS-60’s base provides 60N of pitch force and 4Nm of roll force. Thanks to the yoke’s modular design, the CLS-60 can be upgraded to a CLS-120, which has 120N of pitch force and 8Nm of roll force.

The CLS-60 is available for $799 USD and the CLS-120 for $1199 USD. These prices are only for a limited time however, as it was stated during the presentation that they will be increasing the price after June 30th, 2024 to $999 and $1399 respectively. This is because the company simply isn’t able to profit from the sale of the yokes at the current prices.

FC-50 and FC-100 Flight Consoles

Flitesim.com’s second product line is its FC-50 and FC-100 flight consoles. These feature most of the switches, throttles, and other controls you would use in single engine and twin engine GA aircraft. They also have a space to mount the CLS yokes so that both products are seamlessly integrated.

These flight consoles are available for $1995 for the FC-50 and $2995 for the FC-100. As with the yokes, these prices will be increased by $500 each after June 30th, 2024.

New Products: G1000 Console, FFB Stick and Rudder, 737 Yoke

Flitesim.com announced a few new products; starting with a G1000 console, which will replicate the look and feel of the Garmin G1000. No mention of price, apart from it being “competitively-priced.” It has a rough delivery date of Q4 2024.

The next new product will be a Boeing-style 737NG Yoke Handle, which is meant to go on FliteSim.com’s CLS yokes. No specific price was mentioned, apart from it being “premium-priced.” It also has a rough delivery date of Q4 2024.

FliteSim.com is also joining Moza in releasing a new FFB stick base. Its design is based on another project the company is working on for an FFB stick base for commercial flight simulators. This design was then miniaturized and made more consumer-friendly. It features dual motors with 15Nm of peak force. As with the other new products, no specific price was mentioned other than it being “competitively-priced.” It will be available in Q4 2024.

Lastly, a very unique product and likely the first of its kind: FFB Rudder pedals. They will feature over 250N of peak force, be “competitively-priced,” and available in Q4 2024.
