Fly X Simulations Releases Jersey Airport for MSFS

Fly X Simulations has released its own rendition of Jersey Airport (EGJJ) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The release of this scenery, covering the largest airport on the Channel Islands between the United Kingdom and France, was announced via the iniBuilds Discord and other social media.

About Jersey Airport

The current largest airport on the Channel Islands started service in 1937, when the airport replaced a seaplane service, as at the time, it was the only viable option to get to the Channel Islands at the time.

During World War II, the airfield served as a Naval Air Station, and concrete taxiways were added to the airfield during the occupation by the German Luftwaffe. Improvements were also made to the runway and airport facilities.

The terminal was extended in the 1970s, and a new extension was considered in the 2010s. This, however, was never finished, and the old terminal still stands at the airport.

Currently, Jersey Airport offers a wide range of seasonal and scheduled flights across Europe. You can get to any major British city from here, as well as Munich, Palma de Mallorca, Prague, Dublin or Dusseldorf.

About Fly X Simulations’ Scenery

The Fly X Simulations Jersey Airport scenery promises accurate and detailed airport buildings, with a detailed terminal interior. All of that is covered in custom high-resolution PBR textures.
