The developer Fly X Simulations has released a new Spanish scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, bringing one of the newest airports in the country to life for the platform, Murcia Corvera Airport (LEMI).
Murcia Corvera Airport is a relatively new airport in Spain, opened only in 2019, and it is a fast-growing hub of the region. It is becoming more and more popular due to its proximity to the famous region of Costa del Sol. The airport itself is operated by a single runway, with a length of exactly three kilometres. Currently, the airport is mostly served by easyJet and Ryanair, serving mostly seasonal flights to the United Kingdom and Ireland. Binter Canarias is flying to the Canary Islands from this airport, and we can also find domestic Volotea flights to Barcelona, Bilbao or Asturias.
Fly X Simulations promises to bring a detailed rendition of this airport to life in the Microsoft Flight Simulator series. There are custom PBR ground textures and detailed 3D modelling, and the terminal also includes a detailed interior. The landside area of the airport also includes a ton of parked cars and other details.
