Fly2High have released their Aspen County Airport (KASE) rendition for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer unveiled the scenery through Flightsim.

Fly2High have released their Aspen County Airport (KASE) rendition for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer unveiled the scenery through Flightsim.to’s web store.

Scenery Features

Firstly, the developer vowed that their rendition is an accurate simulation of Aspen Airport. For instance, the scenery features highly detailed models of all airport buildings, objects and surroundings.

Secondly, hand-made ground textures are featured extensively throughout the airport. This includes the runways, the ground aprons, surrounding roads and paths.

Finally, Fly2High stated that this scenery is optimized for good FPS performance, providing users with a smooth experience, even with full animations running throughout the airport.

About Aspen County Airport

Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (KASE) is a regional airport in Aspen, Colorado and mainly serves Aspen and other nearby areas in Pitkin County for scheduled and charter passenger flights. The airport’s sole runway, 15/33, is 2,400 meters long and can accommodate CRJ-700 aircraft.

The airport is notoriously known within the aviation community for its relatively difficult approach, caused by surrounding terrain. Destinations from Aspen include Atlanta, Chicago and San Francisco.
