FlyTampa Athens for MSFS Released

FlyTampa has released a much-awaited rendition of Athens Airport (LGAV) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The scenery was previously released for X-Plane 11 with great success upon launch. Further, back in the day, the scenery was also released for FS2004, FSX, and Prepar3D v3 through v5.

The developers from FlyTampa have yet again proven themselves of their very good reputation in the community with this release. The scenery offers a plethora of various features a flight simmer would expect from a new scenery release.

These include, for example, accurately sloped airport terrain with 3D drainage between taxiways, PBR textures with accurate dynamic lighting, or animated apron vehicles, train, and traffic on the nearby highway.

3D animated characters inside and outside the terminals were also recreated in the scenery. The airport layout in the simulator represents the current state of the whole area from this year, making this scenery the latest rendition of the airport from the developers.

If you want to get the scenery, you can do so through the developer’s website for $17.99 or €15.55.

For those of us who are not familiar with the airport, Athens International Airport (LGAV) is the largest airport in Greece, serving its capital on the mainland, Athens. Greece is most known in the community for the scenic Greek Island hopping over the crystal clear waters, and Athens is a great starting point.
