FSDreamTeam Updates GSX Pro, Improving Pushback

The FSDreamTeam has released a new update for their popular ground services add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Flight Simulator 2024, GSX Pro.

The FSDreamTeam has released a new update for their popular ground services add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Flight Simulator 2024, GSX Pro. This new update improves the behaviour of the pushback sequence and a new model of a heavy pushback tug.

The video shows the profile customisation at FSDreamTeam Houston Airport and how the new sequencing influences the pushback. The most important change is that you will get an engine start clearance after a certain point, instead of immediately as the pushback starts. This point can be customised in a GSX profile, making the ground operations slightly more realistic. It can also be customised for every pushback option at the airport, at every gate or stand.

Once you set this sequence up, a new pushback call will be in place, with a pop-up showing you an estimated distance to engine start and the marshaller will then ask you to start the engines.

The new large pushback tug added in this update, representing the Challenger 700 tug. This tug is used for widebody aircraft, like the Boeing 747 or A380, as well as Boeing 777 or Airbus A330. This tug uses a towbar instead of landing gear lift, and optionally is equipped with a second driving position for pulling and driving around.

You can get this update completely free of charge through the FSDT Installer. If you would like to know more about GSX and its updates, make sure to check out our previous article about the release of GSX Pro 3.0 here.
