FSDreamTeam Updates Vancouver Airport for MSFS

Following the recent release of FSDreamTeam’s Vancouver Airport (CYVR), the developers have now taken to Facebook to announce major updates to the addon for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This shows a commitment to their products with an update coming so soon after release.

Much of the update brings the airport into line with the current real world version. This is especially so with the addition of the Main Terminal’s Pier D extension. This is a fairly new addition to the real world airport. As this addon features interiors as well as highly modelled exteriors, FSDreamTeam have updated the textures for shops in the terminals.

However, most of the improvements have been made to the exterior of the airport. An Airside Operations building has been added, as well as a working Wind generator. More taxiways have been added, specifically D5, D7 and D9 at the beginning of RWY26L. Windsocks and ILS antennas have also been added, as have ground markings and numbers for parking bays to bring the airport up to date. A full summary of updated features is listed below.
