FSExpo’s New Hotel Location Revealed

After the recent announcement of the closure of Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas, where the famous FSExpo should’ve occurred from June 21st to the 23rd, the Flight Simulation Association had to find a new vendor to host their largest flight sim event in the world. On their Facebook page, they recently announced that a new hotel was found, and FSExpo will be happening as expected.

FSExpo will thus happen in another hotel in Las Vegas, during the same previously announced date from June 21st to 23rd. After throughout selection and even a survey, the Flight Simulation Association chose the Rio Las Vegas hotel as a host for the event.

Rio Las Vegas hotel was selected after three weeks of throughout selection and based on the survey, 77% of respondents recommended this hotel.

For those who attend FSExpo, there is no action required from their side. However, it is recommended to book accommodation at Rio and cancel room deposits at Tropicana.

Moreover, as it is written in the official announcement on the FlightSimExpo website, the attendees will be able to book their rooms with a discount in the renovated Ipanema Tower. Tropicana Hotel also offered those who book at Rio Las Vegas a room a 25 dollar credit toward food and beverages at the venue.

Partnered attendees have no changes in pricing for booths and additional services either. The updated floorplan diagram is now also available and partners will be able to review their booth positions in the coming days.
