The developer Gaya Simulations continues its third-party development comeback with a new scenery for the Western United States. After the recent release of their Corfu Airport and a tease of Madrid Barajas Airport, the team has now shown us a new project for Santa Barbara Airport (KSBA) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Gaya Simulations shared the news through their Facebook page a few days ago.
The developer did not share much information about this new scenery. However, many screenshots were posted directly from the simulator, so we can enjoy the airport already in its development glory. Despite that, Gaya Simulations gave us insight into how their development now works, with bigger parts of the team focusing on major hubs, such as the mentioned Madrid or an upcoming Vienna v2 upgrade.

Shared images show the airports’ feel in the simulator, with custom assets capturing the control tower, taxiway signage, a fire truck and other minor clutter found around the airport, like static cars and foliage. Unfortunately, no more information was given about this scenery, and we can only wait for a firm feature list with a release date to come in the near future.
