HotStart Confirms Airbus A220 Coming to X-Plane

The development team of HotStart has recently confirmed that they are currently working on Airbus A220 for X-Plane. Totoritko from HotStart has shared this information through the development team’s Discord server.

Totoritko has mentioned in his message that people actually guessed this upcoming rendition for X-Plane from his stream, where HotStart teased a hint that led to the Airbus A220, formerly Bombardier C-Series.

HotStart mentioned that they are going to do both -100 and -300 versions of this aeroplane. However, they are not yet sure which version is going to be released first.

Unfortunately, as of writing this article, HotStart didn’t share any public previews of this upcoming aircraft for X-Plane. This might come soon, but it seems that this rendition is still deeply in development.

The Airbus A220 is a narrow-body short-haul airliner that was previously developed by the Canadian company Bombardier. In 2018, Airbus bought the C-Series project and rebranded it as the A220. The Airbus A220 is widely used by a lot of airlines across the world. It is one of the most important aircraft of the last decade.

The aeroplane has a unique memorable deep sound, modern design and massive engines compared to the fuselage. Back in the day, Synaptics Simulations, another developer, unrelated to HotStart, started work on their A220 for X-Plane. However, they shifted all their work towards Microsoft Flight Simulator.
