iFly Showcases a New 737 MAX8 Feature in Their Newest Preview of the Aircraft

In the last few months, developer iFly has pushed multiple previews of the upcoming 737 MAX8 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. These previews came mainly as screenshots shared on their forum and Facebook page. Recently, they started sharing video previews of the aircraft. The last video preview shared was a cabin walkthrough where they showcased the modeling work and sounds of the 737 MAX8. They also showcased the animation of the cockpit door and a small tour inside the cockpit a the end of the video.

The newest preview shared by iFly showcases a new feature coming with this add-on. The developer showcases some cabin lighting configurations and combinations that can be achieved with this aircraft. From lights completely off to mood lighting in the passenger cabin and galley. The different lighting effects can be manipulated by the user inside the simulator on a screen in the front and rear galley similar to the real 737 MAX8 as shown in the video.

During this video, the camera remains static in the rear galley as the different lighting effects are presented throughout the cabin. The developer is changing the lights from the screen in the galley showcasing its use. You can control multiple lights around the cabin and the galley to achieve different effects. For example, you can have the galley lights on but the cabin lights off, and much more combinations. In the video, they also showcase different color lights you can apply to the cabin.
