iniBuilds Announces Brisbane Airport for MSFS 2024

The iniBuilds team has taken to their Discord server to announce a new scenery for the recently released Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. With their work, we are now taken to the land down under, one of Australia’s largest hubs – Brisbane Airport (YBBN).

About Brisbane Airport

The airport was opened in 1925 and was known as Eagle Farm Airport, as it was opened on previously agricultural land. The largest carrier in Australia, Qantas, started operating domestic flights from this airport in 1926. During World War II, this airfield was upgraded by the United States to accommodate military flights.

The airport as we know it now opened in 1988 by the Federal Government of Australia and was privatised by the end of the old millennium. In 2007, Brisbane Airport received approval to build a parallel runway, which started construction in 2014 and was opened in 2020.

Brisbane Airport offers two passenger terminals, one for international flights and the second for domestic flights. Qantas and its sub-company QantasLink operate the largest amount of flights from this airport. This includes international and domestic flights. Thus, Brisbane Airport is connected with Los Angeles, Adelaide, Ho Chi Minh City, San Francisco, Dubai, and even special tour flights to Antarctica during summer.

What Does iniBuilds Recreation Offer?

So far, iniBuilds has not given much official information about this scenery. However, they have already shown a lot of images of the airport. The scenery is going to offer a custom-modelled 3D terminal with a detailed interior and custom surrounding area. From the screenshots, we can also notice the custom and highly detailed textures with PBR.

Unfortunately, the whole feature list is most likely going to be disclosed upon the release. The same applies to the pricing, which was not unveiled yet, either.
