Just a few months after the release of their A300, iniBuilds is about to roll out the largest update to date, v1.10.
The update is massive, first, it consists of numerous bug fixes, it also brings massive performance improvements, around 20/30% more FPS on short flights up to 50% more on long ones, compatibility with macOS, and last but not least, the free passenger variant is coming with this update. With this update, the developers posted an extensive video about 1.10, from which we had additional information and explanations about what is coming.
The changelog is massive, and we will try to get through the main points together.
The major improvements and additions are the new macOS compatibility, the addition of a custom weather radar, compatible with Active Sky XP, Autoland, ND Drawing, EFOB, A/THR, thrust control logic, and spool times.
And of course, the passenger variants, of which you can see a few screenshots here. With the latest we have seen custom cabins already, done by painters and previewed on iniBuild’s Discord. When it comes to the passenger variant, this is not only a new cabin, a whole new depth comes into play. They modified the load sheet of the EFB, but also the exits page, and added a slew of ground equipment, airstairs, bus, catering truck, loaders… All can be customized by painters to match the airline they serve. Additionally, the developers emphasized the difference on the flight deck, the smoke system, oxygen, air conditioning panels are all different. iniBuilds’ goal was to provide two different experiences, two different aircraft, and they went to great lengths to provide that.
Finally, a long list of bugs fixes is greeting us. Said list is absolutely huge and too long to get into details, however, it covers all aspects of the flying and most systems. You can find it below.
