iniBuilds has just published a trailer showcasing the VIP variant of its Airbus A340 Airliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. First announced in late 2025, this version features a redesigned interior tailored for virtual long-haul private operations. The layout draws inspiration from real-world A340 VIP configurations operated by airlines and governments, including Qatar Amiri, AirX, and the French Air Force.

VIP Variant Features

The video highlights a bespoke VIP cabin layout with refined furnishings, ambient lighting, and a configuration that includes multiple seating zones, conference areas, and a functional onboard shower. It also showcases high-detail textures, custom sound design, and livery options inspired by private charter and executive use. The update will be provided free of charge to all existing A340 owners, with no specific release date announced beyond ‘soon’.

No changes have been announced to the aircraft’s avionics, systems, or flight model. The VIP variant seems to focus exclusively on cabin and visual enhancements.

iniManager Release Set for 15 January

The A340 will become available on iniBuilds’ iniManager platform starting 15 January 2026. Until now, it has only been distributed via the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace, with identical pricing across both platforms. In a late 2025 statement, iniBuilds explained that the A340 was initially released exclusively on the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace to help protect the product from piracy.
