JustSim Releases Milas-Bodrum Airport for X-Plane

Only a few weeks after Milas-Bodrum Airport release for Microsoft Flight Simulator, JustSim has presented its sibling for X-Plane 11.

Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator earlier this month, JustSim’s CEO, Andrei Bakanov, has taken to the JustSim Facebook group to announce the release of their Milas-Bodrum Airport (LTFE) scenery for X-Plane 11.

The airport is specific by serving two nearby cities – Milas and Bodrum in southwestern Turkey. It is a favourite seasonal destination among tourists from all around Europe. The airport sees seasonal traffic from an extensive range of European airlines, ranging from British Airways to Ryanair.

As it is usual for JustSim, no feature list was given thus we can only make assumptions from the previews when it comes to what the scenery has to offer. With that said, the scenery seems to have many similarities with its sibling for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Hence high-resolution textures are present and especially visible on the buildings. Of course, making use of PBR materials for the best immersion in all lighting conditions. The scenery also seems to make use of animated jetways, most likely making use of the SAM interface.

While many developers are recently moving away from focusing solely on the airport in their latest sceneries, JustSim is staying on their ground with producing sceneries that cover only the airport. That is of course not a bad thing, and we are not here to make any conclusions.

Heading back to the topic of features, the scenery also seems to have a fully recreated terminal interior. Needless to say, with various shops, seating areas, and signage included.

You can purchase the scenery for €16 with VAT excluded through SimMarket. If you’ve purchased the Microsoft Flight Simulator version in the past, you are eligible for a 7€ upgrade fee. Again, with VAT excluded.
