Laminar Research Previewed New Aircraft for X-Plane

With the new lighting system coming to X-Plane, or the Next Generation of it as the developer Laminar Research refers to it as, a new aircraft fleet is going to be added to the simulator. The developer has previewed the very first aircraft of this new fleet through a video published at their YouTube channel.

The aircraft the video is previewing is an Airbus A330. It is previewed in the new lighting model environment which is likely to come out together with this new fleet pack. The Next Generation of X-Plane should therefore add a new lighting system together with new aircraft. It is still not yet known what the developer means by the Next Generation, and what other improvements will there be. People are already talking about X-Plane 12, however, this has not been confirmed by the developer as of yet.

In the video, the developer has shown the external and internal model of the aircraft showing how it behaves under the new lighting system. From the previews, we can see it is a pretty accurate rendition of the aircraft.
