LatinVFR has released a fully native version of its Airbus A340-300 aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MSFS 2024), now available for purchase exclusively through the MSFS Marketplace priced at USD 29.49.
After months of dedicated effort, the LatinVFR team has completed their conversion of this four-engine, wide-body Airbus and it’s now fully optimised for MSFS 2024, and available for purchase. The team notes that the Marketplace-only release is necessary due to the integration with the career mode in MSFS 2024, a feature they believe customers prioritise.

This native version leverages the enhanced MSFS 2024 engine, introducing new features such as visible passengers and pre-flight/weather covers for engines, pitot tubes, and static vents, which were not available in the MSFS 2020 version.
The advanced edition of the release includes both the MSFS 2024 native version and a copy of the A340-300 for MSFS 2020, making it the most feature-rich option in LatinVFR’s line-up.

The aircraft supports both VNAV and LNAV modes, holds, missed approaches, and full ILS auto-land, alongside other advanced autopilot capabilities. It features a highly detailed internal and external model, custom cabin announcements, and 36 custom liveries representing real-world operators.
A “legacy” avionics mode is also included, offering simpler logic and system dynamics for less complex flying, catering to a range of pilot preferences.
The cockpit, in both legacy and advanced modes, includes a custom Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) with features familiar to MSFS 2024 users, such as weather updates and aircraft loading. For pilots with SimBrief and Navigraph subscriptions, the EFB enables chart viewing and seamless flight plan integration into the Cockpit Display Unit (CDU).

The LVFR team is keen to point out that more updates can be expected throughout the lifespan of the product.
Although available as a package with both the MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 versions, existing owners of the MSFS2020 version of the LVFR A340 can upgrade to this latest update, for a small cost, via their LVFR account. You can read our review of the MSFS 2020 version of the LVFR A340-300 here
