LevelUp Releases New Update for 737 NG Series for X-Plane

The team at LevelUp has recently announced a new update incoming for Christmas Eve, and the team not only kept their promises but also released the package early, just a few hours after our initial article. With this in mind, this new update, revamping a lot of stuff in the aircraft series, is now available for free to all X-Plane users.

LevelUp also updated their branding, with a new logo and modernised default liveries, this shows the team’s intention to improve this package in the near future as much as possible, despite the series being abandoned for the last three years.

As with the previously developed Ultimate series and the previous LevelUp release, this package is also based off the famous Zibo 737, and is using its systems. There are, however, more aircraft variants, and the size on your hard drive is smaller.

In the update, the LevelUP team made improvements to the textures, sounds, performance and optimisations. Namely textures are made from the ground up, leaving no trace behind of the previous version. This 737 NG series also includes Split Scimitar winglets, and a short field performance package, used by many airlines worldwide.

The EFB has also been updated, and now features new CornUI, which is a custom reskin of the already familiar Zibo 737 tablet. Why CornUI? During the development, there was a certain inside joke, if a new person asked for a release date, the developers would just respond with “corn”. This is where the EFB user interface got its name.

You can download this 737 NG package now through the ThresholdX forums completely free of charge.
