LHSimulations Further Previews Budapest Airport for MSFS

First mentioned back in October, LHSimulations has today shared through their Facebook Page a post mentioning progress being made on their rendition of Budapest Airport (LHBP) for Microsoft Flight Simulator together with a few previews showcasing the scenery itself in the simulator.

Based on the post, the developers are progressing fast with the development of the scenery. All objects featured in the scenery were renewed from the Prepar3D variant and now feature PBR materials. The ground has been updated as well featuring “bump” maps. Furthermore, there is still a lot to do, but LHSimulations can see a light at the end of the tunnel.

We find a lot of joy in the development in MSFS. Way easier to edit the scenery, we can concentrate our efforts on the objects.

After we are finished with MSFS development we intend to release an upgrade for P3D. BUT! it will not be so enhanced like MSFS. Details are not decided yet.

Along with Budapest Airport, LHSimulation is also converting their smaller airports for P3D and FSX over to Microsoft Flight Simulator, you can read more on that here. A release date or price for Budapest Airport has not been shared.

Budapest Ferenc Liszt Airport (LHBP) is the main airport serving the capital of Hungary, Budapest. Being a hub for LOT Polish Airlines, Smartwings Hungary, Wizz Air, and Ryanair, the airport serves many routes throughout Europe. Routes to other continents are also operated at the airport. Annually, the airport sees over 16 million passengers.
