LHSimulations Further Previews Budapest in MSFS

 

LHSimulations has today taken to their social networks to announce, that they have became an official Microsoft partner making it possible for them to release their products in the in-game Marketplace.

Together with that, a new set of total of four new screenshots was shared directly from the Microsoft Flight Simulator showcasing the terminal of the upcoming scenery of Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport (LHBP).

Although the developer has already released this scenery for other platforms, it was mentioned, that this will not be a direct port, but an improved version featuring new buildings, high-resolution textures (4K instead of 2K), and PBR materials.

Further, it was mentioned, that the developer is now also actively working on converting to the simulator their smaller airports such as Győr-Pér (LHPR-LHBY), Sármellék (LHSM), Pécs (LHPP), or Debrecen (LHDC), for example.

When is the scenery going to be released is yet unknown. The same applies to the pricing details.

Budapest Ferenc Liszt AIrport (LHBP) is the main airport serving the capital of Hungary, Budapest. Being a hub for LOT Polish Airlines, Smartwings Hunagry, Wizz Air and Ryanair, the airport serves many routes throughout the Europe. Routes to other continents are also operated at the airport. Annually, the airport sees over 16 million passengers.

Confirmed Improvements (LHBP)

  • The new buildings constructed since the last update will be added (like new PIER, TNT and DHL Cargo building etc.)
  • High resolution textures (Instead of 1024×1024, we will have 2048×2048!!!)
  • Using the new PBR Materials (extremely realistic graphics, using the latest graphical engines capabilities)
