LivToAir releases the Eviation Alice for MSFS

LivToAir has released the Eviation Alice for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is their sixth release for the simulator, following previous releases of both aircraft and vehicles. The Eviation Alice is a prototype fully electric commuter aircraft.

About the Eviation Alice

Eviation, the company behind this new aircraft, claim they are leading a “monumental shift” in aviation. Alice is the first all-electric commuter aircraft to fly with zero carbon emissions, lower operating costs and better convenience for customers. Eviation Alice currently has over 600 orders from customers including DHL, Cape Air and Air New Zealand.

Alice is built for both cargo and passenger operations, and already two prototypes have been built. The first prototype was unveiled in 2019 at the Paris Air Show, with a second one being revealed in 2021. On the 27th of September 2022, the second Eviation Alice prototype took off for the first and last time. Its performance however was worse than the calculated performance and a third prototype is on the way.

Since its flight in 2022, Eviation have been building a third prototype which is based on the second prototype and follows the calculated performance, not the performance from its first flight. Eviations electric propulsion has been flight-proven on 5 different aircraft platforms, requires less maintenance, is significantly quiet and has been recognised by the FAA with a special conditions certificate.

LivToAir’s Eviation Alice

LivToAir has created fully custom electrical systems for Eviation Alice, featuring custom G3000 systems which have been based on the WTG3000. These systems have been custom-made to recreate the real life systems found within the Eviation Alice. The custom electrical systems have been made to capture the true all-electric aspect of this prototype aircraft.

A detailed EFB has been included inside the cabin which includes 6 different apps such as flight info, performance, and a flight planner app. The EFB is fully interactable, as is the rest of the cabin, which is all interactable to help create a more immersive add-on to explore. To recreate the sounds, LivToAir has used custom wwise sounds for its add-on.

The add-on ships with 1 cargo livery, 6 commuter liveries and 7 luxury liveries. The three variants which have been included are commuter, cargo and luxury and come with different cabin layouts. The last more minor features are the working charger which gives the aircraft its range as well as a custom wingflex animation.

The Eviation Alice by LivToAir is available to purchase now on the iniBuilds Store for €20. You can read more about LivToAir’s previous aircraft release here. For more flight simulator-related news, check out the rest of FSNews.
