MK Studios Previews Düsseldorf Airport for Release in Q1 2025

MK Studios has started the new year as one of the first developers with updates regarding their sceneries. In their post, they announced significant progress on their Düsseldorf Airport (EDDL) project for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS). It is scheduled for a late Q1 2025 release and the airport is set to provide a high-fidelity simulation of one of Germany’s most important hubs.

Located in western Germany, Düsseldorf Airport serves as a key gateway. It handles over 20 million passengers per year. By that, EDDL connects travelers to over 230 destinations worldwide, including popular European cities and long-haul destinations in Asia and North America. Known for its two parallel runways and iconic terminal layout, the airport is a hub for Eurowings and a base for several international carriers like condor, British Airways, and Emirates. Düsseldorf also supports large cargo operations.
