MK-Studios Releases 2021 Development Roadmap

Just a few moments after the release of their rendition of Dublin Airport (EIDW) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, MK-Studios has taken to their Facebook Page to share their development roadmap for the upcoming year, 2021.

So, 2020 is about to end soon. Finally, I’d say! It’s been a very challenging time for all of us and I hope you’re all safe and healthy.

Mateusz Stabryla – MK-Studios CEO

There are numerous sceneries currently planned to be released in 2021 as MK-Studios is aiming to convert all their current sceneries to the new simulator alongside developing new ones. In 2021, we can first expect the scenery of Keflavik Airport (BIKF) to be released for the new simulator. This should happen sometime in January.

After that, Palma de Mallorca Airport (LEPA) release is scheduled to happen just a month later in February/March 2021. It was mentioned in this part of the Facebook post, that not all the sceneries for the new platform will be direct ports. The developers are as well making some improvements to them. These include, for example, in the case of Dublin Airport (EIDW) scenery, reworked jetways, updated layouts, and fixed small issues.

Furthermore, three previews were shared showcasing the upcoming Rome Fiumicino Airport (LIRF) that is scheduled to be released, based on the roadmap, in Q1/Q2 2020, and can be seen below. The same amount was as well shared showcasing the Ponta Delgada Airport (LPPD) scenery.

In addition, some sceneries were mentioned for the first time in the roadmap. Including São Pedro Airport (GVSV), Porto Airport (LPPT), and Palanga Airport (EYPA). All information available in the roadmap can be seen below in a nicely organized table.
