MK-Studios Releases Keflavik Airport for MSFS

After previewing the scenery more than once in the past few days, MK-Studios have today reelased, through Orbx, their rendition of Keflavik Airport (BIKF) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Being the major airport of Iceland, the scenery offers to its users an up-to-date and accurate ground layout, simplified terminal interior model, or PBR textures, for example. Based on the feature list, the whole airport should be recreated accurately by the developer.

The scenery can be purchased through the Orbx website for approximately €15.95 in a 5% launch discount valid until April 2nd, 2021. Customers who have the Prepar3D version of the scenery, are eligible for a 40% discount.

To give a little background on the scenery development, MK-Studios were initially planning on releasing the scenery back in January, however, the release was delayed. In the upcoming months, the sceneries of Palma de Mallorca (LEPA) and Rome Fiumicino Airport (LIRF) should be coming along based on the 2021 roadmap published by the developer last year.

Feature list

  • Fully detailed rendition of Keflavik airport
  • Up to date ground layout and stands according to the real-world changes
  • Terminal interior model (simplified for maximum performance)
  • AI compatible
  • Optimized for high performance
