The developer MK-Studios, known for past releases such as Lisbon (LPPT) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, has shared a development update regarding various airports at FSWeekend, including Zurich, Dublin, Düsseldorf, and Seattle. Although they could not be present in the event, which is the largest in Europe, they shared the news through a video that was presented in the convention.
Zurich & Dublin Improvements
The developer, focused on delivering high-quality airport sceneries, has been busy refining some of its biggest projects, such as Zurich and Dublin. MK-Studios has recently updated both sceneries to ensure both great visuals and “top-notch performance” in MSFS 2024 and 2020. Enhanced lighting, improved details, and a better optimization were brought to those airports.
“Zurich has become one of our most successful releases ever, and I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who has supported and continues to support this project. I truly believe we’ve created one of the most detailed mega airports to date!”

The developer emphasizes the dedication and effort the team has put into Zurich, as he states that it took them multiple visits, and around 5,000 photos to develop this airport with the detail it has. “It was all worth it,” he said. He once again thanks everyone for being part of the journey.
Additionally, Dublin has just received an update that makes it compatible with MSFS 2024, as well as major changes to the ground layout and optimizations. Although Dublin has been constantly evolving since the developer first released it to Prepar3D in 2019, the developer has continued to update it accurately.

Düsseldorf Airport
Being the first German airport made by MK-Studios, the developer is confident that Düsseldorf Airport will be one of the best available once released. The developer takes us through images from the different terminal bridges, presenting the detail and effort that is being put into the project.

Seattle Airport
Finally, the developer shares its excitement about returning to the United States, as it is working on Seattle’s airport. Although the terrain differences were a challenge, MK-Studios has gathered all the necessary information needed to bring this project to life.
