MKStudios releases update for Keflavik

MKStudios, a developer known for its very high-quality sceneries for airports all over Europe, has released an update for their Keflavik (BIKF) airport scenery. The scenery was first released in March and has since received a few smaller updates.

Like most other airport updates in the past weeks, 1.10’s main new feature is Prepar3D v5 compatibility. Some users got SODE error messages, those have been resolved. Sattelite image blending has been improved. The team also fixed a bug where autumn photo scenery would appear during winter. Navaids for Akureyri (BIAR), which is also part of this addon, have been improved. The lights at runway holding points are fixed too. A changelog can be found below.

This update for Keflavik makes it the fifth airport of MKStudios that is made compatible with Lockheed Martin’s Prepar3D v5. It follows Lisbon (LPPT), Dublin (EIDW) and Tenerife Vol. 1 and 2. If you’re interested, you can purchase Keflavik on simMarket for €23 (excl. VAT).
